Web masters have to classify SEO methods in white hat SEO and black hat SEO as many methods are developed from Search engine optimization. Few SEO tricks are not approved by the best known Search engines, but many people still use them in order to get web traffic. You must know all about the different approaches and decide which approach you should use.

White hat SEO describes the process that clearly follows the protocol and requirements of Search engines. A term black hat depicts the approaches that are condemned by search engines. A battle between the users of white hat and black hat SEO is ongoing. Black hat SEO may not be fully unethical and you can’t directly criticize them.  Black hat practitioners may manipulate SERPs, but they agree that these approaches are highly satisfactory for site rankings boosting.

Black hatter states that there is nothing true or false when they both aim to achieve high ranking of their web pages and trying to achieve the same goal of site’s relevancy. Users can get benefits out of it as they search most relevant content. Few large Search engine functions oppose to these stated standards and allow many websites on these basis.

One of the allowed methods of black hat is cloaking and many webmasters use the same. Cloaking policy is used by many search engines and still need updating to become very dependable. Cloaking method does not improve any user search and just provide them with any kind of result and still it is acknowledged by search engines. You cannot say black hat is negative factor as it helps the user’s in getting some related website and content they need.

If you want to rank high and get on the good side on search engine then you must avoid a numbers of methods. Avoid invisible text and never place white and yellow text on white background. Search engines can easily find these things which will cause more trouble for you. Refrain overuse of keywords, as in earlier days over usage of keywords may improve the ranking of web pages, but in modern age search engines become smarter and easily determine the usability of the content.

Every page of an index is visited by a robot and content attained to be detected later on. Cloaking consist of giving a different page to automated robot while showing a totally new one to human user’s. This practice is easily detected by search engines. Also refrain from doorway pages. Doorway pages try to get good ranking on search engines, but in fact they hold no good content. In search engines, doorway pages also include Orphaned pages. The website/s or web page/s can get penalized by these activities.

Refrain from spamming, as spam is defined as a useless page which has no content and which is created to get high ranking on search engines. At the initial stage you may think that it holds good content, but by clicking on them you just get a few advertisements or various listings of other sites. This is also considered as doorway pages and you must refrain from that.
